Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga with Barbara Macias, founder of Mysore Shala Berlin
This workshop is open to everyone!
An introduction to the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method in the Mysore style. This workshop is for complete beginners, curious students, or anyone who has tried yoga before but wants to understand the Ashtanga method from the beginning. We will start slowly and build the foundations step by step. By joining the workshop, you will also receive two weeks of practice access to experience the rhythm and atmosphere of a Mysore room and understand how a Mysore-style practice works.
Together, we will explore the Ashtanga method beyond the physical practice — from its roots and philosophy to the connection between breath, movement, discipline, and awareness.
This is an opportunity to discover that Ashtanga Yoga is not only a physical practice, but a holistic method that supports transformation on many levels.
