A Holistic Path Where Assisted Movement Meets Conscious Healing
This training offers a comprehensive immersion into Yoga Bodywork / Yoga Mardhana as both a meditative healing art and a structured healing system. Rooted in ancient traditions and informed by modern anatomical and movement science, the program invites participants into a deeper understanding of how the body heals—physically and energetically.
The course journey begins with prayer, Rishi marga Sadhana Krama, meditation, and conscious intention, establishing practitioner presence as the foundation of effective healing work. These practices cultivate awareness, sensitivity, and ethical clarity, while also supporting nervous system regulation for both giver and receiver.
Alongside this inner work, participants are guided through applied anatomy, functional movement, body mechanics, and safety principles. This dual approach enables practitioners to feel what the body is communicating while also understanding why certain restrictions, pain patterns, or imbalances exist.
Through progressive hands-on training, participants learn to:
Apply assisted yoga postures and joint mobilization to restore functional alignment
Work with SEN / Energy lines using precise acupressure techniques correlated with anatomical pathways
Identify and release common areas of muscular and fascial tension, including trigger points
Use foot reflexology as both a therapeutic and assessment tool
Support breath, digestion, and emotional regulation through abdominal and chest work
Address postural stress through targeted shoulder, neck, head, and face therapy
Deliver complete sessions in supine, prone, and seated positions
Each technique is taught not as an isolated method, but as part of an integrated therapeutic flow—balancing structure with intuition, and precision with presence.
On a subtle level, the work encourages the free flow of energy, grounding the nervous system and supporting emotional balance. On a physical level, it improves mobility, circulation, posture, and recovery. The result is a practice that is both deeply restorative and clinically relevant.
As the training progresses, participants learn to design cohesive, outcome-oriented sessions tailored to individual needs—bridging ancient wisdom with modern wellness application. The program culminates in supervised practice and evaluation, ensuring confidence, competence, and professional readiness.
This training is ideal for anyone seeking to deepen their wellness journey—whether for personal healing, mindful service to others, or professional growth within the yoga and therapeutic arts. Graduates emerge with a refined skill set that enhances embodied awareness, delivers meaningful results, and opens sustainable pathways for continued development in the field of holistic health.
About Raghavendra (Gurudev)
Gurudev is held in regard by his students as a master of his field. The sharing emerge from a deep foundation of inner stillness where awareness, breath, and touch move as one. He is founder of IMOSHA — The School of Yoga Mardhana and Traditional Healing Arts, a well-respected institution in Mysore, India.
His spiritual journey started from the age of thirteen, shaped by a natural disposition toward silence and self-enquiry. His life continued as he gathered experience working in different fields as a teacher, wellness professional and corporates. Having realised the scope of working in different fields, he started attending more to self enquiry through Sustained meditation, yogic discipline, and contemplative practice over the years deepened into heightened awareness, energetic clarity, and deep inner stillness as stable states of being that were slowly integrated into everyday life. Continuous meditation refined his understanding of prana, consciousness, and the movement of awareness within the system, shaping his approach to meditation as an embodied, traditionally rooted, and a safe process.
Thai Yoga Bodywork/Yoga Mardhana became a natural extension of his meditative path, allowing inner awareness to express itself through the body. Through touch, stillness, and breath, he came to experience the human form as a field of intelligence capable of self-regulation and healing. He has trained extensively with masters of different lineages, particularly in Chiang Mai, and holds multiple advanced certifications in Thai Yoga Bodywork, Jap Sen, Tok Sen, Singing bowl and many more with over 2 decades of training across multiple modalities. His studies in Reiki and Life Regression further deepened his understanding of subtle anatomy, the nervous system, and the imprints carried within the body and the mind.
Gurudev combines meditation, bodywork, and energetic awareness into a single approach to healing and teaching. His guidance emphasizes grounding which gradually deepens awareness while naturally unfolding the expansion within.
Emerging from humility and living practice, he invites students into a space of clarity, safety, and self-trust-supporting each on a journey from inner silence to embodied awareness and service.
