MEET MIREIA SABATER
My journey with yoga began in India in 2016. What started as an experience of discovery gradually became a way of life, grounded in consistent practice, discipline, and continuous learning.
My roots lie in Ashtanga Yoga, a practice that has profoundly shaped my understanding of yoga and movement. In 2021, after several years of practising Ashtanga, I discovered Rocket® Vinyasa Yoga and connected deeply with its dynamic approach, strength, creativity, and adaptability.
Since then, Rocket® has become an essential part of my journey. I am a direct student of David Kyle, with whom I have completed various trainings and travelled to deepen my practice. I have also had the opportunity to assist him during teacher trainings. Over the years, I have continued to study within the international Rocket® community, deepening my understanding of both the practice and the art of teaching it.
My journey has also been shaped by an accident in Mysore, India, where I suffered fractures to my pelvis and hip. Recovery forced me to rebuild my practice from the ground up and learn to listen to my body in an entirely different way.
This experience profoundly transformed my approach to teaching. Today, I understand progression from a more conscious perspective, with a deeper appreciation for strength, mobility, technique, and the individual needs and pace of each body.
Over the years, I have taught internationally, led retreats, and assisted in teacher trainings, while developing a particular focus on handstands, strength, and advanced progressions.
Today, I bring together everything I have learned through years of practice, training, and experience to help you understand the Rocket® method, develop your own practice, and discover new possibilities in your body.
Is This Training for You?
This training is designed for yoga teachers holding a minimum 200-hour RYT certification from a recognised school. At least one year of teaching experience in Ashtanga Vinyasa or other styles of yoga is recommended, but not essential.
It is also open to dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of Rocket® Vinyasa, explore their physical potential, and take their practice to the next level, whether for personal growth or with the intention of sharing it with others.
Don't have a 200-hour teaching certification?
If you are an experienced practitioner who feels drawn to this training, I encourage you to get in touch. Applications from experienced practitioners without a 200-hour certification may be considered on an individual basis.
Please note that participants who do not meet the certification requirements will not be eligible for the official training certificate endorsed by Yoga Alliance and Progressive Ashtanga. They may still be able to attend the training as an intensive learning experience.
If you’re ready to develop greater strength, discipline, creativity, and confidence in your practice, this training is for you.
