Milán Herencsár is a Berlin-based movement educator, researcher, and practitioner whose path weaves together science, and embodied practice. His lifelong passion for movement led him from Karate world stages to Capoeira rodas, Parkour routes, and contemporary dance floors. He has 10 years experience of Karate, 17 years of Capoeira, a couple of years in Gymnastic training.
Milán is the founder of Evolutionary Movement, a holistic and ever-evolving method that connects rigorous scientific principles with artistic and embodied exploration. His classes integrate elements from martial arts, Capoeira, animal locomotion, holistic mobility training, contemporary dance, and improvisation. The approach emphasizes curiosity, adaptability, and connection—encouraging participants to explore not just movement techniques but also the deeper evolutionary and ecological stories behind them.
Academically, Milán holds a BSc in Applied Environmental Sciences and is completing his MSc in Evolution, Ecology, and Nature Conservation at the University of Potsdam, with a specialization in biological anthropology. His current research examines how socioeconomic factors influence human growth, with his first scientific publication forthcoming.
He currently teaches classes in Berlin, ranging from handstands and mobility to acrobatics, Evolutionary Movement (and he is trying his best to build communities).

Evolutionary Movement is a holistic practice that blends science, martial arts, dance, and play into an explorative training method. Inspired by principles from evolution, ecology, and anthropology, the practice invites movers to experiment with adaptability, flow, and connection rather than chasing fixed forms. Through partner work, improvisation, animal locomotion, and creative challenges, participants rediscover movement as a tool for curiosity, resilience, and self-expression.

Milán’s handstand classes build strength, mobility, and balance while cultivating body awareness and playfulness. Students learn progressions from the ground up—covering alignment, shoulder conditioning, core integration, and safe falling—always adapting the practice to their own level. Beyond just balancing upside down, the classes emphasize pressing, breathing, and creative exploration, so that handstands become not only a skill but also a pathway into confidence, focus, and joy in movement.
