Julia has taught yoga in Berlin for several years, having started with physically strengthening Power Yoga classes in 2018. She now runs regular classes and retreats, as well as workshops on alignment and meditation. Her teachings are rooted in the therapeutical path of yoga, informed by studies of yogatherapy in India, trauma sensitive yoga, yin yoga and TCM. Her classes of ‘Slow and Strong Yoga to heal Body and Mind’ prioritise mindfulness and precision. She gives hands on adjustments and options so that all students can feel included and supported. Julia likes to incorporate pranayama, sound and metaphysical topics into her sessions to leave students feeling open, calm and inspired.

Simple, grounded Yoga to heal the body and mind - that’s Julias’ signature style. Think of this Hatha Class like an espresso shot with a little bit of foam on top - a smartly designed sequence to master an advanced pose within just 60 minutes. We get right into the movement, hold some poses longer to breathe, adjust and strengthen, and round it up with Meditation to leave you into the weekend feeling light and centered. The Hatha Energy Flow may include pranayama, sound and hands-on assists. If you are sensitive to any of these, please let your teacher know. She will happily adjust to make all students feel at ease and supported.
